The Village of Vale had its first stage workshop production at The Invisible Dog Arts Center in Brooklyn in 2015.  It was further developed at New Victory Labworks at the New Victory Theater during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons. In addition, the show received early support from MIDDSummer Play Lab at Middlebury College.

The Village of Vale debuted at Lincoln Center for a limited engagement production in the fall of 2017.  Vale has since received developmental support through a writing residency at Bethany Arts Community (NY) in 2018 and a workshop and reading at Kansas City Rep’s Monday Night Playwright Series (directed by Lisa Rothe) in December, 2019.  In 2020, the creative team was selected to participate in the 8th Annual Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Grove at Goodspeed Musicals and in 2021 Vale was featured in New York Theater Barn’s New Works Series. The team recently completed post-production on the first two episodes of the 7-episode series.
